NEVER DANCED BEFORE? START HERE.
The 8:00pm and 8:30pm classes are built for total beginners. Jonathan and
Carlita (JDaBachata and DJ Carliita) teach the basic steps from zero — you
will learn enough in 30 minutes to get on the floor and actually dance.
You do NOT need a partner. Most people come alone. We rotate partners during class so everyone dances.
You do NOT need dance shoes or special clothes. Come as you are — smart casual is perfect.
ALREADY DANCE? THE FLOOR IS YOURS.
From 9:00pm the social is wide open — sensual bachata, dominican bachata, and salsa on 1. Good music, good floor, dancers who lead and follow well, and a room that isn't 20 people staring at their phones.
At 10:00pm, live performances from the Rhythm in Motion Hip-Hop Team and the Jersey Shore Salsa Ladies.
