Monarch Magic Festival: Celebrate and Protect Our Butterflies

Step into a day filled with the fluttering beauty of monarch butterflies 🦋 and the joyful hum of community spirit. From a serene Butterfly Yoga session with Itswell Yoga at 10 AM to a lively Butterfly Parade at 3 PM that invites everyone to join in, this event promises moments of mindfulness and merriment. Wander through engaging educational programs and family-friendly games that spark curiosity and care for these enchanting creatures. Watch expert Monarch Monitoring Project volunteers demonstrate tagging, and create your own butterfly-themed craft to take home as a keepsake. Plus, explore offerings from local artists and authors, and pick up a special monarch souvenir from a local vendor. All this takes place at the beautiful Cape May Visitor Center, where a small suggested donation helps support conservation efforts. Bring your heart and your family to a celebration that’s as vibrant and delicate as the monarch itself 🎨🌿.
