<p>This is not a singles event. It's a beginner-friendly night where anyone in Central Jersey can learn two things at once — how to play pickleball and how to dance bachata. Singles are welcome. So are couples, friends, coworkers, parents, and people who show up alone knowing nobody.<br><br>We built this night for the person who's been curious about pickleball but felt weird showing up cold. For the person who loves bachata music but has never tried the steps. For couples who want a date that isn't dinner. For friend groups looking for something better than another bar. For the person who moved to the area and is trying to find their people.</p><p>You will not be the only beginner here. Most of the room is.<br><br>What to expect</p><p><strong>6:00 — Doors and warm-up</strong> Grab a paddle, meet a few people, hit some easy rallies. Instructors are on court to show you the serve, the score, and the one rule everyone gets wrong.</p><p><strong>7:30 — Bachata basics</strong> A short group lesson. Everyone learns the same steps at the same time. Partners rotate, so nobody's stuck and nobody's left out. If you'd rather just watch the first round, that's fine too.</p><p><strong>8:15 — Open play, open floor</strong> Courts stay live. DJ Jda Bachata takes over. Play, dance, or sit with a drink and talk to someone new.</p>
